We have worked with leading Civil and M&E Contractors, Panel Manufacturer’s, and Consultants. We have a diverse industry base including Water and Waste Water Treatment, Quarrying, Food Processing, Packaging and Building Services.


Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a growing team of industrial automation and systems engineers. Working in a range of sectors including Water and Waste Water treatment utilities, Factory Automation, Material Handling and Power. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with the latest automation technologies such as PLC’s, SCADA, Robotics, Data Analytics, Industrial Networks and AI. The applicant will be working throughout all stages of project completion, from specification, design, development, installation and final commissioning.



  • PLC / HMI / SCADA programming experience whilst beneficial is not essential
  • Strong Communication and Problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work as a team.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge or experience of Rockwell / Siemens automation products.
  • Must have full driving license

  • Work and liaise closely with all members of the Global Automation (NI) Ltd
  • Build effective working relationships with clients


Key Attributes

  • Previous experience of multidiscipline projects from a range of different industries
  • Demonstrated experience within the Water and Waste Water Treatment, Quarrying, Food Processing, Packaging or Building Services industries
  • Ability to meet deadlines, delegate effectively within the team and work to strict timescales
  • Fully flexible regarding travel – prepared to travel to site locations
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and IT skills
  • Capable of building and maintaining strong business relationships
  • Ability to be flexible and to be able to multi-task and prioritise
  • Positive outlook and approachable manner
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Able to work as part of a team
